In addition, sages and oracles have said that with them is the ancient katana of their family is being carried by a dishonorable illegitimate half-breed born of deception and pain, and more importantly, his veins do not flow with blood of the Amatatsu line. This illegitimate bastard is fated to die in a manner that restores his honor. Either way, this is his chance to get take revenge against the usurpers and put his bloodline back where they belong.

The general, against the advice of his oracles, decided to retrace the journey of his great uncle and meet his cousin half way on the top of the Crown of the World. He knows the journey is fraught with danger. The Oni are on the prowl for her and untold hazards are in her path. He will present her with the Seal of Amatatsu, proving his identity and devotion to the clan, and hopefully she will accept his protection and allow him to escort her back to Minkai and to victory.

Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier

This conical iron jingasa, or war hat, grants the wearer a +1 luck bonus to AC. Once per day when struck by a critical hit or sneak attack, the wearer can spend an immediate action to negate the critical hit or sneak attack (similar to the fortification armor special ability, but without requiring a roll). The damage is instead rolled normally
